Title: Mitel 6920 Random issue

Hi,

I have Mitel 6920 Phones that randomly goes to Speaker when the handset is pick up.
Also when users are using headset the call switch between headset to speaker randomly.

My first thoughts are a bad interface cable for the headset, a bad headset, or the headset/handset are plugged in wrong.

We don't have a lot of these sets out there, but there have been no complaints regarding this.

I have tried multiple type and brand of headsets. The expensive Jabra usb headset cause all the button light to come on randomly.

Interesting... and I am guessing you have tried swapping the phone or are having the issue on multiple sets?

Other than that I got nothing, no users have complained... we have only used Plantronics CS530/540 headsets on this phones so far and they have not complained of any issues, although I think we only 2 or 3 out there.

Mitel gave us updated handset firmware for this issue.
