Title: Outgoing calls showing private number - Mitel 3300 ICP
Post by: synthesis on August 28, 2017, 04:15:41 AM
Hello. I have noticed while administering the Mitel 3300 ICP that when a user makes an outbound call (via a PRI interface), sometimes the person receiving the call will see the outgoing call ID as showing private number for the call, while other times the call ID will show the outgoing number. Is there a setting that can ensure that all outgoing calls always show the outgoing phone number and not private number?

Is there anything in common when people receive the blocked caller ID? Cell phones? Carrier maybe?

In the ARS, check the digit dial to see the route the call will used..  Then check the digit mod.  Look for {000} or {001}.  {000} allow outgoing number while {001} block the number.

It will be setup like this if configure for call by call instead of same thing for all calls.
