Mitel Software Applications / Ad sync troubleshooting

I have a customer such that I am certain that their data vendor has not setup TLS access correctly. I can sync with AD unsecure, but not any further. Does anyone know good command line entries to isolate issue? Or, another application to run to show proof?

I have a customer who has cesids that when called ring certain ring groups when called for 911 call back. They seem to be getting robo calls, they cannot add the numbers to the do not call list. My suggestion is to run the call back through a call director box that plays a sit tone ala tele-zapper then transfer to the group. Has anyone tried this? if so are there issues? I would and do assume that there wouldn't be any as the tele zapper would cause the same issue with 911 operators.

Any thoughts are gratefully aprerciated.

Thought I'd ask how others may be doing this, Scenario, 2 sites A & B. Site A has Business Express, site BvMCD. Calls come into site B via sip trunks on vMCD, but all users are primary  to Mivb. Site B has calls coming into an Auto Attendant on the Nupoint than transfers to a ring group. DID for this is set to a trusted extension such that if not forwarded, goes into an ACD path that queues for a second then hits the AA. They also have the ability to change the forward to a second ACD path that end up in a second AA as an override gone now kind of thing.

Moreover my question would be if failure occurs and they are on the vMCD. I know currently that this is broken. My thoughts might be since the ring in point is survivable,  change the default from going to the primary ACD path to a speedcall that dials it. Then changing the ACD path and fall thru extension to be local only, that way on failover site B could have something different.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Mitel SX200, SX2000, and older SX platforms / PCM Channels Bay 1

I had to go to a downed hotel yesterday, and their system wouldn't load. It is a 2 ELx cabinet BCCIII ML system with a dual fim in slot 10 using the 9109-017-001 bat control cards. Anyway, I asked if there was a backup LOL. I had a flash with Q46.0.1 with which I was able to get the system back up and get a database copy. The issue I have is Bay 1 is reporting a PCM alarm indicating a third of the channels are unavailable. Any thoughts or help troubleshooting this would be appreciated. FWIW, I did move the processor to the second cabinet and this persists. I also loaded the database into a ELx processor I had with me , same alarm.

I read in the release notes that Google contacts were a feature of the new client. I have not seen it work for anything but outlook. Anyone know if this works? I think it doesn't but thought I'd ask.

Just want to check with you all. I upgraded a customer from version 6.X to latest 8. Since then their phones display the outbound dialed number plus a trunk number. This wasn't the case prior, only the dialed number.

This dials out through ip trunks to another controller before using sip for final call placement. My concern isn't high since the calls function, just looking to know what changed to make this happen. FWIW all trunk attribute settings have no labels. The trunk number displayed is random and has no correlation to customer data.  Could this be coming from the carrier now? the what's new hasn't shed much light on this for me.

I have a couple of these used and was wondering if anyone out there knows the hook up? I think they are recorded announcement devices. Adding a picture. I understand the power connection and the strap for DC Ring won't be needed. Just uncertain about the DTMF versus LINE connections.

Any help would be appreciated

Anyone tried this type of connectivity? This is more about inbound routing by setting the sip extensions in a voicemail hunt group. A coworker tried this on a vMCD and they got no dtmf after answer.

Further thinking, perhaps Mitel design to a sip device in a vm hunt group looks for the forward info. I was hoping Ralph might have some thoughts.

Additional thoughts would be to try a loopback trunk and send <E> after a <T> with sufficient timeout value.

I have a strange issue that I hope someone has run across. Issue is with new MiCollab mobile cell client, I can get download voicemail when connected via wifi, but when on cell data it never downloads. The older client works when on cell data.
