Title: SpectraLink SVP 8000

Hi All,

I installed SVP server and traying to configure it but I have problem when SpectraLink Wireless telephone trying to connect

but cann't find SVP server.


please advice

If I understand well your Spektralink phones cannot find your SVP server. Did you put the needed DHCP options in your DHCP server? You need option 151 (IP address of your SVP).

Yes I already add option 151 on DHCP. and the DHCP running on 3300 MXe or shall i use external DHCP server?

Did you configured the First to Last Alias IP address in the SVP-II configuration part.
"The SVP Server uses an IP address when acting as a proxy for the wireless telephone. Therefore, one alias IP address is required for every installed SpectraLink 8000 Wireless Telephone. These IP addresses must be entered as a range and must be assigned solely for this purpose." Stated from the SVP server administrator guide
