Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / upgrade

We are looking to expand our current system.
We have 2 old (bought 2009) mxe 3000 controllers (512mb ram). Only 1 is being used. The other was never hooked up.
What are my options? Upgrade to 3300 iii, 250, 500?
My reseller was saying he did not like the intertel?? based systems. Also though some of my older phones would not work on the newer controllers (navigators).
Have talked with mitel directly about cloud but it is way out of my price tag.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / disable callbacks

My setup
3300 integrated vm. Vm is set to email then delete message.

Most of my users do not setup the greeting, ie never login to the vm system. And really don't want to.
I am starting to get mwi's with call backs.

Extension : 5000                                                               
Active Features :                                                               
Message Waiting Lamp On                                                         
Callback Messages : 1

I have disabled the send messages on phone and vm cos.
I also set the callback cancel timer to 1.

My vm is 8000 with 20 ports. 8001-8020 is cos vm.

How can I stop this?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / ata setups

I have some questions about these.

my setup
 pri -> 3300(10.2.0.26_2)
everything is connected over the lan / wan

some things I would like to do

loud ringing - something like a gs 285 to an external ringer or the algo 8180
do I just put an appearance of the extension I want to ring
what do I need for licensing on the mitel? now that I'm on 4.2 looks like I have to buy enterprise licenses which are way more expensive that user / device license

remote sites
use analog wireless phones at my bus shop. 2 lines. looks like a ata would do this easy. just have a license (mitel) per line

fax
need an ata with t.83 support and a license on my mitel?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / call park

Is this normal? Can it be changed?

I just switched my BOE to our 3300.
This is their question.

A call comes in and gets parked. They have to hang up receiver or press the x on the phone to call someone to tell them they have a call parked.

Is there any way to remove the step of hanging up the receiver?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / 5330 pkm

I have a 3300. The software was updated last night so I can use the above together. I have added the pkm to the device in the mgmnt interface.
How do I hook them together?

switch -> pkm -> 5330  I get no power to the phone

switch -> 5330 -> pkm the only way is the pkm in the pc port

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / general questions

I have a 3300mx. We have been using it fone for about 8 months now. Not being a phone guy I have a hard time figuring out certain things.
Some things I have been looking for answers for lately.

1: Wireless head set. Mitel's site says use jabra. Every search for jabra/gn and mitel all I find is old information. I'm looking for a short range head set. Any ideas?

2:Voicemail We use the one internal to the controller. It is set to email and delete. The message waiting light blinks when there is no message. Users do not want to go in and check messages because they want to keep the default greeting.
Last week I made some changes to the network. For a short period of time, the vm could not talk to the mail server. Now that it is talking again it has not sent those vm's. How can I make it send them?

3:How can user a call user b and it go to user b's speaker phone? Kinda like paging.

4:How can I send a call straight to vm? No ringing on user's phone.

5:WIFI Can someone recommend an inexpensive wifi phone?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / 3300 integration

We just installed a mitel 3300.

I have it installed in my data center using a pri. The phones are spread out across my wan. This part works great.

In a remote school, I want to connect the bogen paging system and the mitel phone system. This way a teacher can make and receive calls on the handset in the classroom.

The bogen has 8 fxs ports.

Presently, I have a 4 port multi tech voip gateway acting as a SIP phone with four ports going to the bogen. Calls can be made from one system to the other (but not consistantly).
If you do connect the call is clear.

Once I introduce an outside call, the intercom side sounds like morse code.

Is there a good/better way to do this?

I would also like to be able for the teachers to take advantage of voice mail. Have not really seen how this will happen. The bogen would just dump back to the multi voip "phone" with no ext of where it came from.

If there is anything else I need to provide, please ask and I will do my best to get you the answer (as I am a newbie to phone systems)
