Title: Mitel 3300 caller announcement feature? plus can calls be recorded?
Post by: armstr_a on May 23, 2012, 03:57:59 AM
Hi,

Could someone explain if it is possible to have an advertised extension number to the public that when they call it there is an announcement played to them that calls may be recorded etc... before it then goes to an internal group of call handlers to answer the call?

Is this possible with a 3300 system? if so could someone please explain the best way of doing this?

Also can calls be recorded with the default system or are additional add-ons required?

Help very much appreciated

Thanks in advance

To play a "your call will be recorded" message create an ACD group that can be queued to even if no one is logged in, then create an ACD path that your advertised number rings to.  In the ACD path you will have a RAD group (more than one RAD in the group) that plays the message.  Set your interflow timer to be slightly longer than the message length and interflow the ACD path to the group you want to answer the call.

As for call recording solutions, I like Oaisys (http://www.aoisys.com).
