Unfortunately Activating the Call Forward and DND had no effect at all.  While "ON" the DSS/BLF indicators were still steadily flashing on my colleagues phones.

Negative.  I have Cell Twin enabled [for a long time now] so no need to forward, and i never use DND.

Hopefully this is an easy fix, and it's something I am missing.  Within our department we have each other displayed on our 5330 IP Phones [DSS/Busy Lamp] so we can tell when a person is on the phone.  For some reason my extension is constantly flashing on the other phones [fast blink].  Not sure why this is happening, nothing has changed and I double checked all settings, and keys.  How do I get their DSS/Busy Lamp indicators to stop flashing?

Since I'm not a fan of having to lower my security options, in this case downgrading IE, to have web based software work correctly I have found that utilizing Firefox is much better.  For the last couple of days I have had no issues when upgrading, or making changes to the MCDs.

I am trying to delete a User & Extension from the MCD, normal day-to-day function, but this time when selecting delete from the Range Programming window, the in process window just hangs, and user/extension does not get deleted.  Is this an issue with the database, hard driver, controller, etc?  I need to know how to correct this w/o contacting our 3rd party vendor as they charge for phone calls.

Went to add a user today with extension # 2634, however, I get a return error of "Directory Number Already Exists".  I have not been able to find this extension anywhere so I can delete it.  I've used the Locate Extension Number command line and it returns "0" results.  I've checked Call Forwarding Profile and no records exist (if i call extension it forwards to an external #).  I'm totally at a loss here any help would be appreciated as I have to use this extension, so finding and deleting is a must!

I've resolved the problem.  Apparently the phone was still configured as a Teleworker phone (I did not know this), so I deleted the Teleworker settings from the phone.  Once I did this I was able to delete the phone from the database, and delete the SDS error messages.

I did check other phones, and the number isn't listed on any of them.  We have two MCD's in our cluster, when I attempted to delete the User & Extension it was from the primary control housing that number.  I checked the secondary MCD for safe measure and nothing was found there.

I'm trying to delete a user & extension from our remote MCD, however, after remove the user and extension i'm getting a continuous SDS Distribution Error.  When I read the error it states that the user existing in the Remote Busy Lamp Group.  I removed the user from the Busy Lamp Group, but I'm still getting the SDS Error and I don't know how to correct.  Any help is appreciated.

I've been asked to convert a user to a Hot Desk user.  I am not familiar with how to set this up and could use a step-by-step guide.  I've spent the last hour or so looking through the HELP guide on the MCD, but it is not that user friendly.  Is there a link that provides this step-by-step setup?  Basically put, User A wants to use his extension in both the Corp office and regional office.

First Alt # 2 is set to our VM extension (2700)

Yes they do have VM setup.  If a call is made internally the VM picks up, it's when an external call comes in to Operator and when transferred the VM doesn't pick up.
