Sip user call is failing every now and then

Sipuser: 200 registered on MBG is dialing 123456789
We discovered when it's failing the MiVoice Business is checking 123456789 in the "SIP Peer Profile Assignment by Incoming DID"
When I add 1* to "SIP Peer Profile Assignment by Incoming DID" with proper SiIP Peer configuration it will never fail again.
But the MiVoice should not checking this form for calls from SIP users.
This is also not a solution/workaround because it will conflict with DID numbers.

Pcap trace in MBG until the 404 is exactly the same for a successful or failed call.

 Any thoughts?

Hello Experts,

We have been having issues with our IP Phones for the past few weeks.
Basically whenever we try to call from inside to outside (mobile phones etc.) the person from internal is unable to hear the person he/she called but the one on the outside can hear the person on the other line.
Ive read some article and different forums that issue could be on a routing side such asymmetric routing etc. but i have to say that i have already verified each and every hops and even did a packet capture to further validate but it seems to me that here is no issue in terms of routing portion.

As for the other option ive seen some article from mitel that Mitel Controller is unable to handle ICMP redirects hence, i requested our Telco to disable on their side. i am still waiting for their availability if that would work. I have attached the network diagram to further illustrate our setup

Basically there are some IP Phones that are working which is sitting on an L2 environment but ultimately, our main objective is to let them pass through our VPLS cloud which is experiencing 1 way audio now when calling someone from outside.

Kindly note that i am not hat familiar to voice technologies as i am more on a data side.
Appreciate if you could share your inputs as to where to look at this issue
First thought is the firewall. Are you able to ping between ip Phone and sip router?

What can you tell us aboutyou.nl the firewall rules?

Internal call, voicemail etc. No problems?

That's what I thought however Group AND, Group OR and UnGroup are grayed out...won't allow me to select either way
Did you multiselect the holidays first?

All possible with the correct licenses.
What do you want to do with your Gmail account?  Using it for sending reports etc or do you want to use it for receiving en answering email via ignite?

I didn't know there was a Chrome plug in.
I'll check that out.

I was thinking about it last night.  Mitel once had a YA client that didn't require a server.
I once put Wireshark on it to see what it was doing.
It looked like SIP commands to me.
I'm betting that could be looked at to see how the command structure worked.

For the Chrome plugin you Need to setup an Open Integration Gateway Server.
If you want to create your own web application you can use this server also.

Yes.  It would be a web app.  The customer uses a web based directory that is called up via a browser. They click the icon next to the number and their hard phones places the call.
Currently they are using Cisco and want to do the same thing with the Mitel.

Mitel Chrome plugin can do the trick I think.

Hi ,

When internal number 1111 call 2222 ( and 2222 forward call to mobile ) : 1111 are able to join the 2222 mobile.

But when i call from outside with my mobile -->  2222 , i'm not able to join 2222 mobile

CRM/CIM 29

any idea ?
Test:
Remove call forwarding of 2222
Outside call to 2222, pick-up the Phone en do a blind transfer to your mobile Phone.

Is this working?

You have the most advanced licenses, so you have no limitations in your system.

What I would do

1) Create a SQL Database X
2) Create a Table with at least 2 columns (Column A and Column B)
3) Fill in in Column A a name and in B the value 1,2,3 or 4
[Yoursite IVR]
4) In IVR Create a database provider to this Database
5) Create an "unspecified" Variable (For example "Var_Toggle"
6) add query to your callflow so you get the result  1,2,3 or 4 and save it in Variable "Var_Toggle"
7) Add a Compare Variable based on variable "Var_Toggle"
  Case 1 do this
  Case 2 do that
Etc

If you change the value in the SQL table the callflow will react differently.

If you create a new callflow in the IVR with a menu(4 branches, press 1 Will update  table to 1, press 2 will update  table to 2 etc )
Use Update queries for each branch.
Then you can update the SQL table by Phone

Mitel Software Applications / Re: MiCollab for PC / Windows Desktop clients
« on: November 17, 2017, 12:51:44 PM »
What is the difference between the MiCollab for PC 8.0.17 client and the MiCollab Client for Windows Desktop 7.3.0.235?

Is the MiCollab for PC a new client that can run on Windows that is similar to the mobile client or is it something else?

If it's the new client, how do you install it?  Where (what path/url) do you get it from.

I see both are under Client Versions in the MiCollab Client Service Administration page.
Pc cliënt is almost the samen as the. Mobile client. Provisining is also the samen. You can use the token from your welcome email.  Pc cliënt is not Supported in rds, citrix environments.

Remotely is possible depends of your licences. Go to licences overview in your site Explorer or ccmweb. Check your ivr port licences.

What would I be looking for?
We are looking for the type op ivr licences. If you log into serverip/ccmweb then goto help-about. Here you can found your licences overview.

We can help you finding a solution for question. Not all options are available in the ivr if you don't have the proper license

Check your network switch for dscp value 44.
Has this value a priority in your switch?
