We're deploying several of the 6940 phones. Two of them are in a meeting room where we need the ringer to be silent. Adjusting the volume on the ringer only lowers it to a very quiet ring. I need it to be silent. I can't find a way to mute the ringer completely. Short of prying it open and snipping wires, is there a programmatic way to mute the ringer?
Thanks in advance.

cparker,
Set the main DN and any other Multicall keys to No Ring and they will light without ringing; that is if I understand the problem correctly.
Thanks,

BRILLIANT!
Thank you so much.
And FWIW, these 6940s are impressive. Everyone who sees one, wants one. It's like a feeding frenzy. Even the people who used to say they hate their desk phone and prefer a cell phone are asking for one.

I am going to piggyback another 6940/30 question. I have swapped out some 5340/60 phones with 6940/30 phones. Since the switch, I cannot enable ACD on the new sets. Even after deleting the user and re-adding. Can the 6940 phones not be ACD enabled?

Not documented very well but 69XX phones only support Hot Desk ACD and not Traditional ACD.
