Title: G.722 (Mitel 3300)

5330/5340/5360 on MCD 5 now support G.722 "wideband" CODEC.

Do you have any feedback from users on that? It seems that many users do not like that new "experience".

What are yours?

Everywhere I've seen comments about it they've all been negative.
It appears the quality is "so good" that it picks up everything.
Somewhere I've seen where Mitel is suggesting that you get your users to just "use it for a while". They're apparently suggesting that once people get used to it they really like it. Don't know about that. Never seen where anyone has gotten through the "use it for a while" stage.

Post by: martyn on March 14, 2012, 06:04:18 PM: You need to issue REMOVECODECFILTER <codec> from the maintenance command, and then that will disable it all together.
