Hello!
So after giving up with getting my IP telephone installed at the office, I thought it would be worth using at home for the time being.
I have a Sipgate UK line, which I currently use on a Swissvoice IP10s. Works fine, but is getting a bit old and crusty, not to mention it doesn't always detect the handset pickup.
Anyway, I know the 5312 is a Dual-Mode phone - That's the reason I shelled out to get the more expensive one - And so I tried it with SIP. *7 at startup, all went very well.
However, after configuring it, I cannot dial out - I just get "Address Incomplete".
I've tried following information online (such as http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/SIP+settings+for+Mitel+Phones (http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/SIP+settings+for+Mitel+Phones)) which I have stuck to, but still gives the same problem.
Is this a common error? Is there a fix?!

Settings were as follows:
Authenticate Method: Digest
Long Contact: Enabled
User ID or Extension: 4817829
SIP Authorisation ID: 4817829
Password: <Sipgate Password>
SIP Proxy: sipgate.co.uk
Port: 5060
(UDP)
SIP Registry Server: sipgate.co.uk
Port: 5060
(UDP)
Emergency Server: <blank>
Voicemail Retrieve: 50000

So when you boot the phone can you get incoming calls?
also make usre that your STUN IP address is set to - stun.sipgate.net:10000

I can't get any incoming calls, no :\
Am working all weekend, but will have time to re-try with the STUN server on Monday.

Have retried with Sipgate STUN server, and now it says *NO REG* on the display.
Also, no incoming or outgoing calls :\

This is an old post but I was wondering if you managed to solve the *No Reg* status on your Mitel 5312?
I am having the same issue on the 5320e with Sipgate
