Hello. I got a call from the hotel they have sx-200 PBX. They have 5 analog phone lines connected to that system and it is in the hunting group from the phone service provider. They would like to convert it to sip. I can get fxs gateway and convert sip to analog lines and connect it to PBX. I can port all 5 analog numbers to sip and connect to PBX or I can port the main number and add channels to it. But I have no idea how to create a hunt group in PBX and I don’t have any access info. Is there anybody who can help me here? We work with a new IP-based PBX so I have no clue how the old Mitel system works.
Thanks in advance.

The SX-200 does not support SIP... If the carrier wants to convert them to SIP, they will need to put in a SIP gateway or ATA and convert them back to analog lines. No changes in the phone system should be required, just move the jumpers on the LS/GS card to the new ATA instead of the old demarc.
