Title: Mitel 3300 911 ARS Route List?
Post by: BlackSunshine on December 22, 2017, 12:50:43 PM
I have a customer that has set up a new site and needs 911.  I am out of route list to use and can't upgrade to 8.0 where the route list are increased to 20 anytime soon.  Is there any other way to set up 911 without using route list and COR?

Route list? You don't need a route list for 911... Can you explain the scenario a little better?

Have a look at "Location Based Routing" in the help files under System Feature to see if it suits what you need.
It was introduced in MCD 6.0

Yes locations and zones set up will be what you want. I put all into the same zone group so compression desn't become an issue.

Thanks for the help. I will look at the location based.  You must use route list if you have different sites that use different lines for 911 along with COR unless you use the location based routing

Location based routing is the right way to do this. I've also had to go old school and used Interconnect Restriction, but that gets real messy fast.
