Call Forward works fine in general.

Can we start with what version of software you have running on the Mitel controller?

Firstly, your agents should be answering when their set rings - that is a problem that needs solving.

Secondly, you should create a new Call Coverage Service #2 that has MOH#1 set, then put all your agents in CCS#2 instead of CCS#1.

All agents?
What happens if you log a complaining agent into the phone of an agent that doesn't have the same issue?

I'd be using this in a meeting room, so would normally have a fixed extension on it.

I had one the other day that was super quiet.
I went into the settings menu on the phone and changed the headset options, checked the connection at the back of the phone, and rebooted the phone and it came good.
I then had to help about 20 people setup their headsets and for about half of them the headset wouldn't work until I had pressed hard on the headset plug in the back of the phone to get it to connect.

Does the boot sequence web recovery work on this model like the 6800 series? Press 1 and # simultaneously while the phone is booting up ...

No, that doesn't work.
With the 53xx series, we had ays to interrupt the boot sequence to force a factory reset or a reload of the firmware.
With the 69xx series, you can press the settings button during bootup, if the bootup gets that far.

The way I change a phone from a hotdesk phone to a phone with a fixed number on it is I setup the extension in the controller then copy in the MAC address of the phone into the extension's Device Details tab.
At some point over the next few hours the phone will figure out who it's meant to be and load up its config properly. So that's OK for remote work being done overnight.
If they need it working straight away, I tell them to reboot the phone.

The answer is yes.
You treat the MX as a switch, so STP needs to be configured. Make sure your upstream switch has a lower STP value for higher priority.

You can also have a Ring Group populated with multicall keys that you put on people's phones.
This is good to prevent MiCollab-twinned phones from disabling the Ring Group.

johnp might be describing a different issue, but it's one I came across once.

Somebody had upgraded a cluster and on their "resilient" controller, they'd accidentally left the Configuration Option "Maximum Configurable IP Users and Devices" (which always resets itself to the wrong value, thanks Mitel) on 700 instead of the bigger value.
So the first controller was getting SDS errors in relation to all the devices over the first 700 and those users were not visible as resilient users on the "resilient" controller.

I've configured many hundreds of 69xxs with keys and I don't recall even once getting feedback about keys not displaying.

Try going in Users and Services to a phone whose keys are working fine and use the "Copy keys" button to copy them across to the phone that's having trouble.

The 6930 can have a headset panel added to it so that the headset is very integrated. It's a very neat and attractive option.

Now that everything is going to SIP, the answer is: do it on your MBG, super-easy.

Sending it through to NuPoint is just CFA or call re-routing.

Is it worth going in the MiCollab Client service, finding the account, then clicking on that thing on the far right-hand side that re-synchs the PBX proxy connection?

You could try changing their service type to something else.
I'm fixing a bunch of users at the moment where there is something funny going on with the service type that is preventing them from being synched with their resilient controller.
For the particular bit of corruption I am fixing, I am deleting their MDUG, which forces their service type to change to Full, then re-creating their MDUG which changes their service type back again, then they start synching between controllers again when I make changes.
