« on: December 04, 2013, 03:45:08 PM »
Hello.
Mitel MCD 5, incoming call with CLI Blocked, via SIP Trunk going to extn OK, But when calling a Dynamic extension user the call fails.
Not sure if its the network provider that could be stopping the call because of no CLI.
any ideas.

Hi, Can some one help?
MXE II, MCD 5.0 SP 1. PR1, SIP Trunk License, also have MBG Virtual with SIP Proxy, but this has been removed from the application until we can sort the problems out.
We are trying to install SIP Trunks for a customer in New Zealand using Telstra NZ, but are having problems with no audio.
At present we are using our test lap system to set this up.
Now to explain fuller, Incoming calls OK, transfer OK, Conference OK,  Outgoing call from a 5212 & 5312 no audio, Outgoing call from a 5320 OK.
Also to confuse, sometimes after an incoming call to a 5212(successful) you can then call out from that 5212 ( successful).
Is there a problem (programmable option) associated with the 5212 &5312? with SIP Trunks.
Because Telstra NZ's SIP Trunks have not been certified by Mitel ( who want us to do the certification) Mitel will only help if we pay.
Any help, ideas?
Regards
Dave

Mitel Software Applications / MAS Upgrade
« on: August 06, 2013, 10:19:05 PM »
Hello.
Can someone in the wide world help, I need to upgrade 2 x MXE II Controllers to MCD 5, but the associated MAS Box is on V2.
I would like to upgrade MAS to virtual V3, make sence sofar?
My question is can you transfer the licenses from the base to the virtual, but keep the base application going (short term)in case we have to go back.
From Sales build there are variuos parts listed and it appears I will need to go to V3 Base (54005447) then (54005389) to virtual.
Is this correct?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / SIP Trunks
« on: July 09, 2013, 09:44:15 PM »
Hi, Mitel 3300 MXE III, MCD 5.
The problem is we have installed SIP Trunks for our customer and have had considerable problems to get to the stage where I can say that we can let the customers traffic on it.
The latest and hopfully the last is that outgoing dialled calls from an IP phone are OK, but fail if you use the redial, no speech, from an Analogue phone no problems.
Any ideas appreciated.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / MCD 5 Embedded VM
« on: April 22, 2013, 06:41:24 PM »
Hello
The question relates to a MXE II Controller on MCD 5.
We had a problem yesterday where a Voice Mail user transfered a message into all the mail box's on the system.
The system users the embedded VM.
I have read somewhere that when you listen to a message you get the option to transfer" option 4", that there is an option to transfer to all mail box users and I think the option was "0" is this correct, if so can you disable this.
Thanks for your help.
Regards
Dave

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Mitel 3300 Call Recording
« on: February 18, 2013, 04:01:47 PM »
I have a customer who has a Mitel 3300 MXE MCD 5, connected to the network via ISDN Pri, that uses the ASC EVOIP Call Recorder in the Passive mode to record the calls to their contact centre.
The customer is looking at changing the network over to SIP, is there any problems recording calls on SIP Trunks, I suspect that it may require the Secure Recorder application.
Any advise is welcome.

Hello.
Has anyone had any problems with the 5312 telephones rebooting when the user selects option "D" Key 3 to delete a message.
We have had several failures across different sites, luckily these have been replaced under warranty.

« on: August 20, 2012, 11:52:41 PM »
Hello.
I have a MXEII & A CXI II in a cluster on V4.2.
Over the last few days we have problems with the MX and have been advised by Mitel upgrade to V5 xx.
They advised to remove the MX from the cluster first.
Can some advise on the removal procedure.

Thanks
Dave
