Title: Disable SSL
Post by: Tnobrien on September 15, 2009, 03:33:53 PM
Here's the deal.  We need to packet sniff our internal Mitel network to get call control info on calls.  I turned off voice encryption, but the the call setup information is SSL encrypted.  Can this be turned off?  I'm sure it can't through the UI, so if that's through SSH, then I can live with that.  has anyone needed to do this and if so, how?  Thanks in advance.

Technically no the encryption cannot be disabled, however there is a maintenance command to mirror the MiNet (un encrypted) for a specific DN to a defined IP address (I think this can be done via the phone menu as well) however the Minet needs to be decoded in wireshark & Mitel won't release this plug in anyway.

Michael.
