Mitel SX200, SX2000, and older SX platforms / Re: Call forward to SC
« on: July 11, 2017, 09:33:41 AM »
I should have been more clear about why I went this route.
ext 123 is a phantom extension that I want always forwarded to sc100, this is a very old SX200 EL so that option call forwarding is not available in the Review menu that's why I created a septate tenant to take care of the ALWAYS FORWARDING.

Mitel SX200, SX2000, and older SX platforms / Call forward to SC
« on: July 10, 2017, 06:02:59 PM »
Hi,

I'm trying to call forward a phantom extension to a speed call so I created phantom extension 123, created a tenant group 12 that "station Dial 0 Routing" goes to SC100 and assigned it to ext 123, created CS100 to go out 71866xxxxxx but every time I try calling ext 123 I get a busy signal. What am I missing? Thank you.

Mitel SX200, SX2000, and older SX platforms / Page From Console 1000
« on: June 06, 2017, 12:20:44 PM »
Hi,

I have console 1000 on our site, this console died on us and we had to replace it, after replacement everything worked fine except paging, we used to be able to press *12 5 to page and used to get a peeping indication when pressed *12, now it does not work and we do not get the peeping indication after pressing *12 any ideas what may be causing this.

Thanks

Thank you for your inputs. In regards to your WOW :) this setup is for a care facility that has medical staff to take care of such calls, so this staff needs to receive those calls first and if needed they can get to 911 dispatch using a normal 911 outbound trunk, this is allowed here by the province health ministry.

Once again, Thank you for your help.

Hi acejavelin,

Thank you for your input. I made trunk group 3 and assigned trunk 12 to it, I included this group in route 9 where I'm stuck now is how do I go about deleting all the digits to insert a valid destination and how do I re-route 911 to use route 9.

Hi,

We are required to restrict 911 calls from going out to the dispatch, instead, we'd like them routed to a staff group, what would be a clean way to program this.

Hi,

Is there a way to get a transfer to cell number to reach the extension voicemail box instead of the cell mailbox if no busy/no answer?

Thanks,

Thank you for help acejavelin, much appreciate it.

Mitel SX200, SX2000, and older SX platforms / backing up database
« on: April 19, 2017, 12:43:07 PM »
Hi,

I'm in the process of backing up Mitel sx200 system data for few remote sites, everything goes well on site where I have a dial-up connection using procomm but I use putty to connect to some other sites where it gives me error every time I try to run the backup, I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if backing up using putty is not possible. Please advice.

Thank you acejavelin,

I traced back to the PLID and its connected to a Panasonic system. So I guess I'll have to look for 301&301 in the Panasonic system not the Mitel.

acejavelin thats in form 35

ACCESS CODE          DEFINED          BAY   SLT   CCT   SCT   MULTIPLE APP.
   ------ ----          -------          ---   ---   ---   ---   -------- ----

      *7         Feature Access Code                                  N/A
      ***        Feature Access Code                                  N/A
      #6         ARS Leading Digit                                    N/A
      #7         ARS Leading Digit                                    N/A
      ###        Feature Access Code                                  N/A

Hi acejavelin,

I just checked, not in form 35.

89
Thank you johnp,

I guess what im trying to ask is what are  301/303  &  991/993.

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out the difference between two paging codes was provided to us to use:

Dial 26993 – code red
Dial 26991 – code yellow

does dialing one over the other mean that certain areas/phones are paged?

I checked form 31 "Attached"  and found both index numbers 993 & 991 with their corresponding digit string which I could not translate to an answer, your help is much appreciated.
