I am having some issues here. We have a cluster of 7 3300's in my organization. Over the last couple of weeks Mitel has updated the software on two of those 3300's.
Those two 3300's are now running software version 10.0.4.14
Now when I try to manage phones on those two 3300s using Moves Adds Changes I get the following error: DBA error: COM EXIT ene connect (26504), Element: xxxx; Cannot connect to requested Network Element.
I assume the lastest software is not compatible with my Enterprise manager and Ops Manager.
How can i manage those locations? Is there new software I should be running as the administrator? I am only able to manage by directly going on the swtich, and fumbling through all the forms.
Thanks

If you go into the event viewer on the Ent Man server you should see an error when connecting to that node, it should give you a clue if incompatible SW revs

Have the systems been SDS shared? If so changes will be replicated across them anyway.
Having not ever used Ops manager (was before my time), I can't help too much, but I know that there is a point that it does stop working with MCD, but not sure what revision number that is exactly.

OPS is no longer a platform that is supported (well, developed). At that MCD release you can migrate your databases to use the SDS to share data and manage your users. at 10.1 and above OPS is unavailable completely as the 3300s share the tel dir themselves.
Does that answer your quetsion?

10.0.4.14 IS supported for Opsman. It is the last release of MCD 4.0 that supports it. If you have issues I suggest you contact mitel to find out details of the upgrade performed. If opsman cannot connect to an element it may be the opsmanager access password has been changed or something like that.
-
If it is the password issue there should be a login/logout audit log telling you so on that element.
-
If some of your systems are running MCD 4.0 then you need Enterprise Manager 6.0 and the relevant OPS Manager release.
-
Event viewer is a good place to start it will likely tell you incompatibilities or password errors.
