Hi everyone,

Is there a way to get automatically a call on hold back on the 5550 IP? Like a pop up or something?

I have the call wait timer on the COS set on 30 seconds. On the attendant software on "Queued calls" I have the "Parked calls" timer set also to 30 seconds, but anytime a call is put on hold, it remains there without a warning to the receptionists.

Is this possible?

Hi there,

Is there any way to change the amount of incoming digits on an 5540 IP console. From external callers I can only see a maximum of 7 digits followed by the trunk name. Even if I don't give any name to the trunk it will still show a maximum of 7 digits.

Is this the max possible?

Hi,

we have a costumer where one of the computers at the reception has been upgraded from Windows XP Pro 32 bits to Windows 7 Pro 64 bits. The problem that we encounter is that we cannot start the program under the user account.

The user doesn't has local admin rights. If we give them local admin rights, then the application starts perfectly, but as soon as we remove these rights, they have to enter admin credentials prior to run the program.

We have the latest software load for the 5550 IP on the computer running. In the technical manual it states that you don't need admin rights to start this software.

Anyone similar experiences?

Hi all,

we have some big issues when dialing out through a SIP trunk (Broadsoft environment). Whenever the caller dials a wrong number or tries to cancel the call during the call setup, the phone will freeze. The same happens if the number is dialed correctly and you press the cancel button after it rings one time. You will see "Please wait" on the screen. The volume button, for example will still work, if you press a single number (like 1 for example), you will hear a confirmation. After this, the phone will show (Akn) and will only work after this phone has been physical powered down and back up. This has been confirmed on IP 5212, 5224, 5340 and 5360 phones. This is only when we dial out through the SIP trunk. We have on this system also ISDN trunks, and if you dial through this trunk, the problem doesn't happen.

The issues started when we went to version 4.2. Before that we were on version 4.0 SP2 and we had no complaints. The only doubt I have if it has to do with the different releases is because we did a new installation from scratch. The SIP settings were kept the same where possible (due to more options on latest releases). At this moment we are running on version 5 but we still have the same issues.

I hope someone can help us out with this one.

Mitel Software Applications / How to deploy .Net 4.0 using Active Directory

We are going to upgrade UCA server to the latest version. For the clients we would like to deploy the uca client software through GPO. The problem we face now is that prior running UCA 4.1.x the pc's need to have .Net Framework installed. We cannot find any msi version of it.

Did someone bump onto this? Is there a way to deploy .Net Framework?

Does someone knows how to reset the 5610 handset? I am almost 100% sure that the PIN has not been changed, but it won't take the default 0000.

Is there a way this phone can be restored to factory default?

Hi,

I got some strange issues with a 3300 mxe after migrating the database to SDS. Everything seemed to go well, only if I try to create or change a user I keep on getting this error "No matching record was found" and am unable to save it. The same happens if I try to add a multicall key to a user. Then I get the following error "The directory number cannot be configured as a key appearance because it has already been programmed in a remote node".

I have done the migration precheck prior to migrating it and the system found in-consistences.

It concerns a local node that doesn't make part of a cluster. Aldo the errors look like it makes part of a cluster.

Hi Guys,

Does somenone knows what I need to setup, to be able to dial number with +1 321... from UCA desktop tool?
(It concerns the synced Outlook contacts). Anytime I choose a contact, it dials the number well. The problem is that it just removes the +.

I need to find a way to remove the country code or add two extra zeros in place of the +.

I was playing around with the modem and phone options, but so far no luck.

Hi guys,

does someone knows if there is a possibility to show the full name when using the phonebook lookup on the Mitel phones. Now I only see the first letter followed by the last name. I was also curious if it is possible to search on first name instead of the default last name.

Dear all,

I'm having some problems on a network with DECT OP27 phones. The problem is that the phones are logged in the system, but if you try to phone with it you see "no channels" on the screen and you are unable to place a call. If you try to phone to that phone you hear the phone going at the caller side, but at the calling side you don't hear anything. And if you press a couple of times at the answer button the call will be active.

This network is a combination of RFP's 32 and OP27 phones with 3300CX as ICP.

This is a new network and we are experiencing this problems from the beginning. I have registered the phones again and it looked like it was working back ok, but since last week the RFP's were restarted, it seems like the problem came back again. But I personnaly don't think that this can be the answer. I have to say that this customer is on the top floor of a building where on the roof there are a couple of GSM/UMTS antenna's.

Does anyone has a bit of a clue what it can be.

Hi Everyone,

I have a location with some hotdesk users. I have at the devices (from the normal users) DSS/Busy Lamp keys programmed "attached" to the hotdesk users.

Since I have updated the ICP the lamps will blink if they are logged out. Does someone knows if this can be disabled.

Before the update (version 8 UR2) the lamp would only work at the moment that they would log in. I think these function has been added since v.8 UR3
