Post by: Tech Electronics on June 03, 2015, 02:40:00 PM
Anybody,

Has anyone used one of these two devices and if so what are you thoughts on it?

I haven't used that model, but have used a dual-comm unit and it works well. This is what I use:

JohnP,

I saw those as well and the price was nice, but neither it or the Gigabit version stated it would handle VLANs; although the Gigabit version did handle 802.1p. Do you know if yours will pass VLAN information?

Thanks,

TE

I think it passes all traffic from the connected port

I have the dual-com one in my tool bag, works really well, USB powered and even passes PoE through!
