Mitel 3300 cross site clustering

we have 4 sites each with its own 3300 ICP. The sites are part of the same cluster but i wanted to know if it was possible to have them act as 1 device for example:- we use hotline nummbers and at present we can assign a hotline number on one controller but cannot assign it to a phone registered on another controller on the cluster.

in the system admin, datasharing is turned off and PNI has no value.

i know on cisco systems this can be done, where calls are routed internally normally but if the link goes down the internal calls are routed via the PSTN back to the main controller. external calls break out locally to.

What release are you running?

You will need to turn datasharing on so that the forms will populate between the systems.

You can select what forms are shared in the shared forms configuration form.

Be careful when you sync you can overwrite data on production systems and cause a big headache (ask me how I know)

I would suggest that you don't have a 'proper' cluster set at the moment because when set up correctly the cluster should act as one large system. Speak to your dealer about setting up data sharing and telephone directory sync between controllers.

You are a good bit behind on your software release. Current is MCD 4.1 (10.1), you would have to upgrade to 4.0 first.
