Make Busy codes assigned as Speedcall
« on: August 03, 2017, 09:31:32 PM »
Hi All,

We have 53xx phones used by our Agents.
We have 9 codes for Make Busy and I'm trying to program 9 buttons to have different Make Busy codes.

At the moment our Agents have to click MakeBusy button and then select the appropriate MakeBusy code.
And I'm trying to program 9 different buttons with different codes, that will let Agents instantly select MakeBusy and Code at 1 click.

I have found that key combination of *2* + MakeBusy code will do the business. And it works.
But when I'm assigning *2*8 to 'User SpeedCall' button it doesn't work.

I don't have much experience with Mitel, if you have a solution or an advice please include more details in your response.
Thanks in advance.

Hi ramkulov,

If the feature access code is *2* try to make the entry *2*#[make busy code number] eg. *2*#8.

If that doesn't work, change the line type to CDE Speecall and try both *2*8 and *2*#8.

Thanks,
Andrew
