Emergency call configuration on Mitel MXEIII (7.2)
« on: May 04, 2017, 09:29:48 AM »
Dear All,

I'm Trying to activate the Emergency feature on my Mitel MiVoice MXeIII 3300ICP (release 7.2).

I've created a hunt group in the Emergency type.

I've defined the route for Emergency and Panic Emergency numbers.

I've defined the ARS Digit Dialed

But it is not working properly. If I dial 999 or 9999:

1- sip phones are displaying (failed to establish connection) before sending the Emergency request then rings to the console as Emergency call.

2- Mitel phones are displaying Error and not sending the emergency call to the Console.

I can't find what I've missed.

Please help to correct this configuration.

Will it be possible to the correct configuration procedure steps?

Thanks in advance.

In maintenance do a "DGT Tr 999" and "DGT Tr 9999".
Be sure the call is going out the trunk group you think it should.

Yes it seem to be correct.

when I use the command "DGT TRACE 9999" I get the following result:

DGT Trace started:
9999 : ARS 9999 +  0, ARS 9999 +  0, Route (4)
DGT Trace completed.

This route is matching my configuration.

But if I put "DGT TRACE 999" the result is as follow:

DGT Trace started:
Termination cannot be determined, more digits are required.
DGT Trace completed.

Thanks

Is "999" entered in your ARS digits dialed with "0" digits to follow?

Use digit mod to add a 9 in when you dial 999 using a separate route.

I think you could also program a system speed dial to handle it.
