Internal calls only? superconsole 1000
« on: April 19, 2017, 05:14:31 PM »
On a day where we can forecast non-stop external calls coming in for reservations, we typically do not answer the phone.

Is there a way though to block out external calls or silence them while allowing internal calls?

Building on what Sunspark said, if you don't already ring external calls to a seperate button, create one and route the external calls there normally.  Then on the days you don't want to take external calls, forward that button to wherever you want it.  You can forward it via FACs or by setting up the system to do it while in night mode.
If using one of the night modes then you just need to be sure you're "Operator Present".

I find it hard to say anything to some one who would deny access to incoming calls. Why would one think internal calls would have a higher priority than customers? Someone help please.
