A question for my neighbors to the north. Is it more common to set up outside line access using a 9 or an 8?I have a CA customer I'm setting up a new system and currently they're using and 8.I'm used to using a 9 so an 8 feels weird to me. It would make my numbering a little cleaner using an 9.Ralph
The last couple of systems I have done I have used a 1 for outside access
I have tried to build all systems using 8 over the last few years, to prevent the mistaken 911 dialing and it seems to have worked. Now I'm just waiting on the government to find some official use for 811...Jim
