CRA option to collected digits, but get INVALID Extension...
« on: February 06, 2017, 04:49:09 PM »
So, I have 6.1.46 software on this MiVoiceOffice 250/Mitel5000...

I found that to do a CRA "collected extensions" option to get to a phone that has NO vmail box, and have it NOT say "invalid extension" I had to build a "EXTENSION ID" for said phone, to make it route to the phone.

MY QUESTION is... how do I have it ring 4-5 times, and NOT get the voice processor advising "if you would like to leave a message, please enter a mailbox number"
I have prompts and announce turned off.

Is this just a Mitel-ism... or is this software glitchy?
I did reboots and everything else.

Thanks in advance!
Geno ::)

Do you want it to ring forever or go back to the auto attendant or someone else?  In any of these cases the key would be to build a system forwarding path for that phone that takes the call where you want it to go (live operator, auto attendant, not-avail-able CRA or HG that includes only that ext).  Any of these destinations will break the recall path.
Or you could set the system timer TRANSFER - VOICE PROCESSOR timer to a very high number if you don't want any A A transfers recalling to the A A.
