Problem with Business Schedule
« on: February 15, 2017, 12:33:57 PM »
I created a new hunt group (100) and in Call Rerouting I assigned the HG a Business Schedule and rerouting for Day and Night 1 & 2 modes, however when I dial the hunt group (100) the rerouting is not reflecting the assigned business schedule but follows the system Day/Night schedule.

Am I missing something?

I have the latest release 14.0.0.97, verified the system date & time is correct, in System Options the Business Schedule settings is blank.

Hi there,

Can you create access code in FEATURE ACCESS CODES and change the feature code example as below:

Dialed Day/Night Serices - Activate = (example ##1)
Dilaed Day/Night Services - Inquire = (example ##0)

When at telephone set press ##0 to inquiry current system service moe (Day,Night1 or Night2) by default it set to Night1

To change it to Day, press ##10. '0' is ask the system to set to Day mode services,
To change it to Night 1, press ##11.
To change it to Night 2, press ##12.

Please set Dialled Night Service to enable in COS for telephone set.

Thank you manchester7 for your answer, unfortunately this is not what I want.

I would like to setup a dummy extension (either a hunt group, ring group or anything) to be routed based on an assigned Business Schedule (this feature has been introduced in MiVoice Business 8.0) not the the system Day/Night mode controlled via the Dialed Day/Night Service feature access codes.

Don't know the answer but my best guess is that the night service is overriding the business schedule because nothing is entered there is settings. However I would check to see in the help if one overrides the other if both are set?

I tested the same config on another system running the same version and there it was working fine.

Group A
Monday to Friday open from 08:00 to 18:00
Every Wednesday from 08:00 to 08:30 there is a team meeting and they want to route calls elsewhere
Sat & Sun open from 10:00 until 16:00
Holiday open from 12:00 to 14:00
Group B
Monday to Friday open from 09:00 to 17:00
Sat & Sun open from 10 until 16:00
Holiday – closed

To enable this capability the system administrator simply needs to create Business Schedule (and you can have up to 100 schedules across the cluster) based on normal scheduling capabilities (Day of week, Holiday, based on 15 minute time intervals) and then apply the Business Schedule to any directory number in the call rerouting form (typically groups but ultimately any directory number). Once set up the schedule will ensure that the different business modes (akin to Day/Night1 and Night 2) are applied as required. Up to 10 changes can occur per day per schedule for added flexibility.

So it looks like you need to set up some form of schedule to get it to work.

In your OP you said 'System Options the Business Schedule settings is blank.'

Yes, I left the business schedule option blank intentionally because I don't want to have the system Day/Night service to be controlled by any Business Schedule, I just want the rerouting of the specific hunt group to be controlled by assigned Business Schedule in Call Rerouting form.

From the system help:

Quote
Leaving this field blank means that the system's Day/Night Service is not controlled by a business schedule.
