Backup issues
« on: August 18, 2010, 01:15:04 PM »
I am attempting to upgrade a 3300 MX running 6.1 to a MXe running MCD 4.1 (I know that I need to go to 4.0 first). My problem is that when I try to pull the backup from the running system nothing ever happens. The little Java progress bar in the top left corner never comes up. I can see where the file is being sent using Hyperterminal to monitor it but it never makes it to my desktop. Is there a way to go in through the RTC and pull the backup manually?

Sorry, left out the fact that I am trying to get the backup for a restore onto a new MXe.

Turns out that the network admin had FTP blocked and wouldn't admit it. Plugged straight into the 3300 and it worked.
