ISDN "Sending Complete" on the MiVoice
« on: January 23, 2017, 10:10:00 AM »
Hi Everyone.

We have not been able to call other countries but North America from Taiwan since we installed MiVoice.

Our ISDN is configured as NI2 Bellcore.

TSP trace shows the cause code:

4   1------- Extension bit      : Not Continued
-1100100 Cause code         : Invalid information element contents

The Telco says they need to see "sending completed" command in the setup message from our PBX.

My research shows this is a one-line command you can enter on a Cisco router.  However, I don't see anything remotely equivalent on the MiVoice system.

I thought of ending the digit string with a "#" but it didn't complete the call either.

Any ideas?

We found the fix.  The protocol used is IDA-P which is the same one we use in Hongkong.
