Mitel SIP Dect with MXe ringing issues

Hi all,

I am having an issue with a newly installed SIP dect system, that is working over a P-WAN back to the main hotel. We can make outbound calls fine but on incoming either externally or internally the SIP Dect 622d handsets ring once then stop, you cant answer the call when it does ring once and the calling party continue to get the usual ringing tone as if no one is picking up.

Can anyone help at all, not sure if its a Dect issue or a 3300 programming issue.

I feel it is most likely a Dect issue as it happens when you call dect ext to dect ext as well.

Might want to take a peek at the SIP messaging between the base and the 3300 and check for any issues that would be preventing the SIP call from being completed. I've seen similar things happen when a firewall was blocking the re-invite messages to set up the call between endpoints.
