Install beep wav file
SHAYNERS:
How to load "beep wav" file for parked calls on Mitel 3300 mxe with analog phone
ralph:
Are you looking for a beep tone rather than music on hold?
Ralph
SHAYNERS:
yes, however I need a 5 second one and a 10 second one. the one I found was a 15 second wav file.
And I just want to say that the one you provided, the beep.wav file loaded like a charm. Very impressed how easy it went. So wondering if you have the 5 second repeat increment as well as a 10 second repeat increment beep wav file?
johnp:
I would use audacity or something similar to cut the 15 second down. Just remember to export as 8000 HZ mulaw wav. Think it is other compressed format.
sarond:
For convenience I modified the beep file from http://www.mitelforums.com/articles/3300/mitel-beep-tone-moh.php
I have cut the audio to a 5sec file and a 10sec file.
Ralph I hope you're ok with this.
As John said I use Audacity to do this.
