M5000 and MiCollab customer had Unified Communicator
« on: September 13, 2016, 09:02:53 AM »
Is there any way to make our Micollab work with our contacts the way it was formatted for the UC?

It seems that In Micollab,  when trying to dial out of our Other Contacts, which is synched with our Outlook,  if the number has any special formatting characters,  it will fail.  For example,  If the number is 1(212)358-9620 it will prepend the number with 110 or something and fail. if the number in the contact is 12123589620 it will dial.  All of our outlook contacts have the special characters because that is what the UC required.  The UC wanted the special characters for some reason so everybody had theirs formatted that way.

Is there a switch or setting somewhere that  will allow us to use our contacts the way they are without havi9ng to go through and edit all those numbers? We really need this.  Our people have thousands of numbers in our contacts.
