Call hold timer

Good afternoon

I think this is an easy problem but i'm not that experienced at our Mitel mxe3300 yet!

When we put a call on hold internally it holds for around 3 mins. When we put an external caller on hold it rings us back after 30 seconds. I've checked the COS for the trunk but that shows 180 so it's not that!

Any ideas?

Call hold timer in phones class of service. Just put hold into Help and bong....

I've looked at the help files and have changed the 'Use Called Party Call Hold Timer' to yes and will see what happens!

call hold timer would be better IMHO

I've resolved this issue by setting the call hold timer on the trunk attributes COS
