Auto Attenant

Quick and easy one..I hope.

Set up auto attendant some years ago and now they want to change some names on the target extensions (No MLAA). So I have had them change the name on the associated extension which they say they have done but when yo press(as in thsi case) 2 the AAU returns the original name instead of the new name on the extension.

What am I missing? I thought that the name for the AA was picked up from the name on the extension at transfer.

I would suspect that the mailbox users need to login and change their name prompt.

Hi Ralph yes that's what I got them to do but then remembered that they had single digit vm boxes for the transfer and the name in the announcement "you are being transferred to" is from there NOT from the target numbers VM.

So sorted now.

Then I think you'll have to look at the individual nodes in the AA.
Each node is a mailbox that will have greetings in them.
