Direct Dial IVR

Hi All

I'm  using the 3300 and would like to be able to dial the IVR directly from an external number. I can assign external DiD numbers to extensions and if I dial any of the unassigned DiDs it sometimes go to the IVR but I would like to assign one number that permanently does it. Can anyone assist?

If a number for the IVR already exist, then go to System Speed dials and add the DID there pointing it to the existing IVR number.

Thanks for the reply Ralph.. Unfortunately I'm unsure if there is a number already assigned to the IVR as it is only initiated I think on incoming calls when the main line is engaged. Is there a way I can check its configuration?

Start by looking though your hunt groups to see if you can find it in there.
If it's not there then you'll need to look through your ARS.
If you know of a number internally you can dial to reach it then go to maintenance and enter "loc num XXXX"
