Bluecat DHCP Server
« on: May 17, 2016, 10:50:14 AM »
Anyone,

Has anybody been successful with getting a BlueCat DHCP server to deliver option 125 or 43 to a Mitel phone? If so what did you have to do on each side to get it working? Did it require text, string, or hex to get the option(s) working properly.

I have not as of yet tried to get the individual options [128, 129, 130, 131, 132] setup as they seemed to be having issues with understanding their new product. Also, I am not familiar enough with the individual options to really help them with how to set them up.

Apparently there is a known issue with option 43 and their DHCP server, but I have been unable to determine what the fix for it is other than it requires an option 60 for VCI I believe.

Here is their website: https://www.bluecatnetworks.com/products/dhcp/

Thanks,

TE
