Embedded Voice Mail ?'s
« on: April 29, 2016, 04:22:16 PM »
Scenario:
Using embedded VM to filter calls to our call center. Calls come off the PRI get pointed to our VM system from there we have a greeting press 1...press 2...and so on. I have 7 and 8 available for future options. We want to add a prompt for Spanish press X.

I'm wondering what happens when you change the vm prompt language to include Bilingual where English is 1st and Spanish is 2nd. Does the system announce these as choices before our actual greeting and if they press Spanish it would send them to our main greeting where we would need to record this in Spanish?

Or

Leave that option alone and we simply change our main greeting and say press 7 for espanol and then 7 would be tied to a transfer only mailbox and this takes me to a new ACD path were all the RADs are in Spanish.

Thanks,

You tell in the greeting to press for example 9 for spanish.  You have to record the secondary prompt in spanish.  The system prompt will then be in either english or spanish.
