IP Networking between two 3300 ICP CXi MCD4.1
« on: June 01, 2010, 11:45:38 PM »
Dear all,

I have two 3300 ICP CXi MCD4.1 .  I install ip networking license on each 3300 ICP CXi so i can program ip networking between the two sites.
On each site i have an internet connection with a public ip (200.6.144.xxx). I connect the internet modem on the WAN port on the CXi and program the WAN port using a static IP (200.6.144.xxx). The ip of the ICP system is 10.1.90.5 , DHCP 10.1.90.50 - 10.1.90.200  .

Do i need to use a port forwarding on the icp in order to forward the ip traffic from 200.6.144.xxx -> 10.1.90.5 ?

Cant say I have ever tried to send IP trunks over the internet. Usually done on a private WAN. In my experience NAT usually causes problems with 1 way transmission
