Mitel 5312 - Call history

Hi folks, we recently have had the Mitel 5312 IP phones installed in my work place. For the life of me I can't figure out how to configure the the call history feature. I've watched some videos where they explain how to use it, but in those videos they already have the top quick button programmed for that use. For me the top button does nothing. Any information on how I would figure it out would be great.

HI,

If you enter code 333 while the phone is idle this should bring up a menu that will list type of call history.

You can also assign yourself a button (As long as it is a user programmable key which can be altered in the System and diagnostics software, mihgt need to contact your system provider for this), Enter 397 - press the key you would like it assigned to, then enter 333.

You should now have a button which will provide you with Call history features.

Hi Ryskie, thanks for the reply. When i type in 333 or 397 nothing happens. Would this be a permissions issue? i think i might have to contact IT.

I think the phone may have to be an admin phone, which can be set under the flags in the DB programming, If IT have access to this they can do it.

Under "Under and Device Configuration" Services tab, did you set "Max Call History Records"? 20 is the maximum.

This would imply the system is a 3300 (MiVoice Business) system and not a 5000 (MiVoice Office 250), since this question was posted in the 5000 group, we should limit answers to that system, or determining that the system type is incorrect, unless we can definitely find the system is incorrect, at which time one of the moderators will move the post to the appropriate area.

I do find it plausible though, that since none of the default feature codes worked or gave any response, that the phone could be on a 3300 platform.
