Remote Back up

is there a way to do remote back up? i have my ftp server up and working. tested. went to form 47 put in the wan addy of the ftp server but cant seem to make work. its 200 ax latest's software.  any help is grateful..

I do backups on all my 200ICP and Ax every month with ftp, do you have a firewall that is blocking it

Yeah, this works fine... the ICP has to have the correct IP address (obviously), gateway, and subnet mask, and the VLAN the PBX is connected to has to have internet access. Never had an issue making it work unless it was firewall or VLAN related.

Thanks for response. Not set up vlans. Just have cheapy Best Buy router on it. Did port forward to 2000 and 2002. Do I need other ports?

Wait... Is your problem getting into the PBX remotely, or getting it to FTP the file out to your server?

The 200 will originate traffic on TCP ports 20 & 21, in most cases there is nothing special that needs to be done on the ICP end, as long as the network isn't too locked down.
