Mitel phone's Message Key not working

Hello Mitel Techs,
I have a Mitel 5320 phone, that when you go off hook and press the message key it doesn't do anything. if on hook and you press it, it displays "No Messages". Where do you go to set this key up? Some details on the system is:

Mitel vMCD
Release: 5.0 SP2 PR2 (I know....an oldie)
Active Software Load: 11.0.2.66

Voicemail:
Exchange UM

Any idea on where to go on this one?

All,
You can disregard my request. I'm finding out that because of this early version on the MCD, and NOT having the "Call Coverage Services" form. We have to make due by programming a "VM Access" button on the phones in the event they wish to gain access to their voice mail and their little clear message key is NOT flashing.
