@acejavelin:

Wasn't sure if you identified anything on your end yet.  I recently made some VPN changes and at one site we started running into the frozen 'app loading' scenario again.  Am checking with another site setup the same to see if theirs are as well.

This is pretty frustrating, am hoping we can get a solid solution other than reboot.  (or mitel support blaming network issues)

New tunnels are now using ikev2 with different combinations for phase 1 and 2 encryption/hashing.  Am going to look into our end more and see if there's anything else we can do on the firewall side (eg: mss-clamping) to help.

For reference what kind of tunnel and encryption are you using?

Am seeing a mtu of 1412 when using aes/sha1 and 1436 with 3des/md5 or sha1.  Essentially I would prefer to stick with aes, however if that extra bit of MTU helps that might be something to look at.

No idea if there's anything we can tweak on the mitel side.

This was the previous post I pointed Mitel techs to, but they never changed it.  Just not sure why it seems random for us with equivalent settings.

Try restarting the webserver?

I've never been able to successfully restart just the webserver on a 3300/MCD, even if it's technically possible. It's always required a full reboot of the controller in my experience.
