Softphones

I have a customer who has a few UCA 3.0 softphones that now wants them to be able to silent monitor. Guess what they can't. Any ideas on how I could do a work around on the system to get this to work?
3300 MXe 4.0 SP2.

I have made this work by using system speedcalls. It will make you crazy to use it though. If you try to wait for an agent to monitor you hear ring back the entire time instead of silience.
According to my Mitel rep he is contacting the UCA product line manager about availablity. Yeah right.

Ok, in spite the fact that I think this is a spam post, I'll answer the question.
To use system speed dials, simple dial the number.

Hello Fellow Mitel Techs,
It has been 5 years since this post. Have we evolved? Can we do "Silent Monitoring" via the UCA/MiCollab Softphones now? Question has come up on this at our company.
Thanks,
