Is it possible to have one extension’s voicemail sent to a different extension’s voicemail?  Also does both extensions have to be on same controller for this to work, how can this be programmed, is it programmed in Mitel MXe 3300 or NuPoint:
SCENARIO: You call an extension at campus B and if that line isn’t picked up by that phone the call will be picked up by campus A’s voicemail extension?

Thanks.

Alternate extension in Nupoint. VM will know what was called. Embedded you could use a nametag hunt group.

If you want both extensions to receive a MWI indication and they are on different controllers, you can do this by using a broadcast mailbox.
There are feature bits that can be set that will cause the message to be broadcast to both extensions/mailboxes.   The first one to delete the message will delete it for both of them.

I've never done this before not sure where to start with doing a broadcast mailbox (is the broadcast mailbox to be done in both controllers or only Nupoint)?

It's done in the Nupoint.
You should bounce this question off the NuPoint section.
It's been too long for me to remember exactly how to do it.

So figured it out, this what I had to do:

Deleted voicemail for extension that was forwarded to other extension's voicemail.

On the voicemail extension that we wanted to keep went to Nupoint -
- Selected NuPoint Web Console
- Selected Mailboxes - Put extension in Search
- Once mailboxes extension came up
- Selected edit and it opened edit screen
- Selected  Advanced - went to Alternate Extension #1 field, put in extension that was deleted
- Selected Save.

Thanks.
