Unable to access awc conference via teleworker

I have a newly installed mitel awc system which is exhibiting very strage behaviour when devices connected via teleworker / Mitel Border Gateway try to access an audio conference. The AWC does not recognise the dtmf tones to enter the conference. This does not work for all teleworker devices including hardphone, UC advanced and SIP client. Audio conferences work fine with calls from external lines or internal extensions using both hardphone and UC advanced.

Any ideas welcome

I've seen somthing similar before.  Not with AWC but similar.   
Turned out to be an issue with the MaTai software.   The 3300 had to be upgraded.
Check the AWC software notes to see if you have the correct version of 3300.

Are you sure that all of the appropriate ports are opened?

Is the AWC on the same server as the Teleworker or is it on a separate server?

If it is on a separate server is that server on the same subnet?
