There is a problem becoming more and more common where the handsets now come out of the factory with Version 6 firmware.
These don't downgrade when connected to a system less than MCD 4.1. They get an L2 DL Error.
The fix is to use FW 4.1.1.7 this allows the downgrade to happen.
