problem with the sys monitor

i have a customer with a mitel 5000. when they load the sys diag and admin and it tries to connect to the system monitor it can but he can connect and do the admin. what can the issue be. i can connect to both just fine on my computer. both computers are on the same network as the 5000.

Markdevoll,

What is the error that it gives you? Keep in mind that only one PC can be connected to DB Programming at any one time and it uses Port 44000, and more than one can be connect via the System Administration and Diagnostics.

it said there was a problem with the username and password but it went on to log into the db programing. i can use the same un and pw and both work on my computer but not on the customers computer

Have you turned off the firewall and virus protection and tried it? Also was the virus protection turned off when loading the software?

Is everyone using the same credentials to test? Sound like it may be a permissions issue with the account that is failing not having permissions to access Diagnostics Monitor
