Embedded VM transferring announcement
« on: March 24, 2015, 06:46:27 AM »
Hello all
i am a little be confused regarding the embedded VM system. When creating a multi level auto attendant and using transfer only mailboxes, there is always an announcement saying: you are beeing transferred to..... .
Can this be deleted or at least can i record my personal announcement instead of the system's?
I have read all previous posts, but i am a little confused.
Also official Mitel answer is NO CANNOT be either deleted or changed.

How any of you people overcome this obstacle?
Is there any work around.  :'(
Thanks very much.

I've never been able to remove this. Would be interested if someone has.

I think best you can do it record the name of the mailbox as the destination, for example "Sales"

Are you just talking a single level AA. (i.e. Press 1 for ..., 2 for ....)

Depending on your available resources for RAD greetings I normally create an ACD Path with a Dummy Agent group that queues when no agents available.
The first greeting is set to play after 1sec (RAD Greeting for Menu)
Set the ACD Path Interflow dialing list with your options
Set the interflow timer on the ACD Path to a bit more than the length of the greeting with a destination of where you want the call to go if an option is not selected.

This essentially plays the RAD greeting while accepting a dial out option to your destinations. If they don't select anything then they get transferred with out having to repeat the menu again.

This may not be what you're looking for but thought I'd throw it out there.
