UCC Licenses and EDHU
« on: March 06, 2015, 05:48:22 PM »
I have a customer who has purchased UCC v3 Entry level licenses.

According to the docs, they should then be able to have 2 devices for "Single Number Reach".

The first device, their primary DN, is programmed with a multi-device service level.

If we program their EDHU with a multi-device service level, and then put the two into a Multi-device ring group (either standard or External Twin), the EDHU never rings.

However, if the EDHU is programmed with a Full service level, and then put into a Personal Ring-group with the multi-device Prime extension, everything works as I would expect.

Does anyone know the correct service level that the EDHU should have? Mitel simply referred me to the UCC v3 Training guide, which doesn't cover this as far as I can tell.

I believe that this license package still consists of an ip license and ehdu license. I haven't dealt with this level and I'm not certain to the actual method.

From what I believe, both should be full service and you could program them in either form, external twin if using multi.

When you applied them what increased on the MCD license screen?
