hi. i got a bunch on 5224 and 5324. managed to switch to sip mode, upgrade them and all. work great on asterisk. what i'm trying to do now is use one of the 14 5448 pkm i have. reading everywhere that to use it, i have to go somewhere and accept them. cant find where, and i suspect the procedure is when a mitel server is used. since i dont have one, and dont plan to, what do i do?
i searched and found no solution, so i'm turning to you guys.
how do i use those modules?
firmware on the phones is 8.0.08.00.00.04
5448 is connected to the phone, if i press a key on it, line 1 on the phone offhook and display <--- cancel dial. going on the phone, program memory key, pressing any key on the 5448 does nothing.
help! i'd like to use them if i can...
